Designing this garden was an absolute joy, as always thankyou Olive and Henry for trusting me and this process.

This project was a renovation of an existing house and pool, and an opportunity to design a garden that felt lived in. This concept developed intuitively, to create a sense of home for the people that will live here.

The existing pool shell became a central design focus of the garden, extending the paved surrounds & developing a pool fencing design with rendered masonry walls to provide privacy and wind shelter and glass to allow a visual connection to the house.

The outdoor kitchen and arbour is a space for long lunch’s, fileting fresh caught fish, and a reprieve in long summers.  A form that is being quickly enveloped in wisteria, creeping fig & jasmine – a nostalgic reminder of a childhood home.
